Bernice T. Conway, 91, of Auburn, handed away on Tuesday September 15, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine Golinski Szakalski.
Bernice labored for Basic Electrical in Auburn giving 25 years of service.
She was a commit Catholic and talk of St. Mary’s Church in Auburn.
She was extraordinarily pleased with her Polish heritage and liked to prepare dinner all of the Polish conventional meals.
Bernice was a loyal mom and grandmother who cherished each day she spent with the household particularly her grandchildren who affectionately referred to as her “Babcia”.
She is survived by kids, John Conway and his spouse, Gail, Maureen Wawro and her husband, David, Marjorie Warren and her husband, Jeffrey; seven grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
Along with her mother and father, Bernice was predeceased by her husband, William A. Conway; brothers: Rudolph and William Szakalski and sister, Genevieve Szakalski.
The providers will likely be held privately for the household. Entombment will likely be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Brew Funeral House, 48 South Avenue, Auburn is in control of the preparations.
In lieu flowers, contributions could also be made to St. Mary’s Church, 15 Clark Avenue, Auburn, NY 13021 in reminiscence of Bernice T. Conway.
