Throughout his tenure at SUNY Geneseo from 1963 to 1998, Bob Isgro served as administrator, choral director, and professor. Along with conducting three choirs, he was chair of the Division of Music in its adolescence and taught a wide range of programs, together with music appreciation, choral literature, music historical past, people music, and conducting.

Isgro’s most enduring contribution throughout his 35-year tenure was his management of the Geneseo Chamber Singers. He taught and directed a whole bunch of younger vocalists to spectacular ranges of inventive and mental achievement.
