AUBURN — Catherine “Katie” Zamniak Bilinski, 90, died on Nov. 12, 2020 on the Finger Lakes Middle for Residing.

She was the daughter of the late Harry and Catherine Bab Zamniak of Auburn.

Katie is survived by her son, Edward D. (Menfen) Bilinski, and daughter, Mary (Randy) Moore; three grandchildren, Katie (Tim) Donohue, Hanna Bilinski and Brian (Lindsey) Moore; and by 4 great-grandchildren, Tyler and Isabella Donohue and Jaelyn and Taylor Moore. Katie can also be survived by her sisters, Helen (Peter) DelFavero, and Sandy (Bob) Delmonte; and several other nieces and nephews.

Moreover her mother and father, Katie was predeceased by her husband, Edward (Eddie) Bilinski, and her sisters, Olga Mosley, Anna Rousset, Sophie Bellnier, Pearl Fallat, and Mary Panko; and brothers, John, Nicky, Harry Jr., and Steve Zamniak.

Katie was raised in a humble dwelling on Perrine Avenue. Her husband Eddie was a lieutenant within the Auburn Hearth Division at Engine 3, and a grasp carpenter who constructed 4 customized properties for her, each finer than the earlier. Katie actually loved her music: polkas, boogie woogie, Elvis, and the blues. Katie might actually dance. She loved jigsaw puzzles, was an avid reader, unbelievable baker, and religious parishioner. She seemed ahead to gardening in her yard along with her Eddie yearly. Katie “Babu” delighted in spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Katie was additionally very keen on the corporate of her beagles, all named Queenie. In her youthful years, Katie loved bowling with the ladies.
